Stepping into a Contactless New World

The Covid-19 pandemic has forced citizens and governments across the world to relook at how we do things on an everyday basis.

India has had one of the strictest lockdowns for two months starting 24th March 2020. With a country of 1.3 billion people, it was important to keep citizens safe and preventing healthcare facilities from dealing with a large number of cases which we were not equipped for at that time.

As India opens up slowly, economic activity has resumed in parts. We have all changed our perception of what work in office will mean for the coming months. Work from home has been proven to be successful in many ways, forcing companies, large and small, to relook at policies even post this pandemic to enable WFH. The workplace is witnessing a huge change.

At Resettle, we have continued to carry out operations and support our clients within the country, as well as those whose assignments were put on hold during this period. As we get back to work on the ground, we have begun initiatives like “Virtual Home Search” and “Office Sanitization” offerings. The need of the hour is to carry on work and support our clients with all the safety precautions in place.

Duty of Care has a whole new meaning in these times. We have a duty towards our consultants who are taking all the necessary steps to ensure their own safety and well being. They have undergone trainings on how to deal with various situations and necessary protocols have been put in place. In spite of no restrictions on the number of employees being able to come to work, we still work in two alternating batches to ensure social distancing norms within our office. Regular temperature checks are conducted as well. Workplace design has been adapted for social distancing and new compliance regulations are being put in place.

For our clients, we have made all necessary preparations for contactless delivery of services. Our vehicles will be sanitized thoroughly before and after any visits. We offer PPE equipment and sanitizers to our clients and have guidelines in place for activities such as home search, city orientations, school search and settling-in services.

Every crisis brings with it the opportunity to learn, innovate and do things differently. As we learn to cope with these new times, we are stepping into the new normal and carry on our work to the best of our abilities. We believe in Relocation with Care.

Stay safe and stay healthy!

Yours Sincerely,
